At the beginning of the summer, students from the Netherlands and Latvia joined the module "Safety in the maintenance of hybrid vehicles" at Kaunas Technical vocational education centre as an activity of Erasmus+ projects. The module was a new experience not only for students but also for teachers at Kaunas Technical vocational education centre since this is the first module in the field of electric or hybrid vehicles presented as an option for incoming mobilities.

We spent a week together with students from the Netherlands and Latvia, who were highly motivated and active participants. On the first day, the students were introduced to the teachers and to the workshops of Kaunas Technical vocational education centre along with safety requirements. After the lectures they visited Kaunas city.

For the next four days, the students attended lectures given under the module "Safety in the maintenance of hybrid vehicles". Step by step, increasing their level of knowledge, from beginner to advanced tasks, they achieved the required outcomes and did really well in the theoretical part of the module.

Over the next three weeks, students will have practical training at companies, which will organize practical tasks related to the acquired theoretical knowledge.

If you are interested in future automotive systems as well as an eco-friendly course with the focus on lower CO2 emissions, we definitely recommend checking out our new module "Safety in the maintenance of hybrid vehicles".
